About Christina
A career shaped by people and possibility
Before founding She Matters, Christina worked in international human rights law, including humanitarian issues in conflict-affected areas. At HiiL Innovating Justice, she worked on improving access to justice.
She founded She Matters in 2017 in response to the barriers refugee and migrant women faced in finding meaningful work. That experience continues to shape her approach: listening to women, recognising their skills and working with employers on the practices that affect their opportunities.
Today, her work connects access to employment with what comes next: belonging, development and progression. She brings particular expertise in refugee and migrant women and women in tech, with a practical focus on what organisations can do.
