Nadia is a second year International and European Law student at The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THUAS). She has a strong passion for and dedication to serving justice. Nadia joined She Matters to help provide equal opportunities for female newcomers. And her strong personality and background resonate greatly with our values.
‘Ms Moreno gave a presentation about She Matters as a guest lecture at THUAS in December. As I am myself Albanian-Syrian, the topic that She Matters advocates is very sensitive to me. During the guest lecture speech, I was impressed by She Matters’ mission and the determination to achieve its goal. Stereotypes around refugees remain an obstacle to integrating them into the society. As a quote from Mahatma Gandhi says, “You must be the change you want to see in the world.” Thus, I felt the need to contribute to making a change to this issue and have an impact on the life of women refugees,’ Nadia shared her memories and aspirations.Nadia Farwati
