Windows Systems Engineer

Our client, a leading telecom provider, is looking for a passionate and skilled Windows Systems Engineer to join their dynamic Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions team. In this role, you'll manage and enhance a robust Windows Server environment, while also taking part in exciting projects that drive innovation and infrastructure improvements.

What You'll Contribute:

• Oversee operations, maintenance, and support of Windows Server systems, ensuring smooth functionality and security.
• Work closely with internal teams to automate processes and develop cloud solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Participate in ongoing infrastructure consolidation projects to optimise performance and enhance overall quality.
• Collaborate with team members to design, build, and manage infrastructure using the latest automation tools.

Your Strengths and Experience:

• 3-6 years of hands-on experience in enterprise-grade environments.
• Expertise with Windows systems (client and server, 2012+), Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and infrastructure tools like IIS and SCCM.
• Strong automation skills using PowerShell and familiarity with CI/CD processes (Azure DevOps preferred).
• Experience managing hybrid environments and VMware-based virtualizations.
• Knowledge of security best practices, including firewalls, SSL certificates, and group policies.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus), with the ability to work effectively in a team.
